Originally from Nova Scotia, Catherine graduated as an RDA Level II in 2008 from CDI Collège in Winnipeg Manitoba. She has worked in clinics in Manitoba and Ontario before moving to Newfoundland
Continuing her education is extremely important to Catherine, and she always wants to stay informed on the most recent information and technology in the dental field. She's attended dental conferences all across Canada and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Manitoba in 2017.
In 2020, Catherine completed the AJP Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is a registered prospector in Newfoundland and Labrador! She has a side business making and selling jewelry out of the gemstones she finds.
Additional courses that Catherine has taken that are important to her are the Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training (CPIT) and Suicide Prevention Training through Living Works Start.
She loves to explore the world, learn different languages, cultures, and enjoy different foods. So far, this passion has brought her to over 30 countries.
Catherine loves learning about mycology (mushrooms), exploring the East Coast Trails and woods collecting and identifying different species.
Outside of work, you can find Catherine spending time with her husband and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. In her spare time, she loves hiking, golfing, gardening, running, and practicing yoga!
